Absolutely in love with this thing, although at first I did get a defective unit when I bought from ebay, and I was totally unimpressed and thought about leaving a nasty long nuvi 680 feedback for all the world to feel my frustration, I quickly calmed down when I phoned support and realized that I had probably gotten played from the third party seller, and I decided to give it another chance 
I’m glad I didn’t rush to conclusions when the jerk at ebay sold me a bad garmin 680 gps system not in original package or anything, and that I did go out and buy from amazon online where I received it in a couple of days to really see what kind of fun and how powerful this expensive gps travel companion was really worth
It is incredibly useful and once you get hooked on using it, not having it their beside you is almost depressing as driving is dull and a whole lot ‘less’ of an experience
There were a couple of things I didn’t like 100% like the mount it comes with, as it is illegal here to have it directly on your windshield and I did have to shop around for a long time to find the right mount for my garmin nuvi 680 that would allow me to not have to put it on the windshield. I also feel that for just the average person, the garmin nuvi 660 is the more cost effective product, if you are just staying in your general area as I do, the completely MASSIVE AND COLLECTIVE data that the msn-direct services bring aren’t really put to use, however I’m sure if I do plan on going anywhere soon outside my general city area that I already know 100%, I will thank myself for buying the (relatively cheaply priced) nuvi 680 for all the extra information and up to date conditions and factors it brings to your screen.
Besides that, I am now the biggest garmin gps fan on earth I think! I love to drive all over the place and make friends and my children come with me just to let them see how cool and neat this gizmo gadget truly is… just be careful, you might get addicted and want to sleep in your car for the first little while until it becomes second nature to have all the features packed into your driving eventually
