The Garmin Nuvi 680 is just something that I can’t leave home without all of a sudden after have ownded it for just a month. It’s been instrumental in a 3000 mile family road trip just past, and made any challenges or uncertainty of navigating not familir territories and unexpected detours a breeze. The whole setp of the the garmin 680 from start to finish is flawless and easy to understand, and it would take one really not so intelligent person to not be able to learn the ins and outs of the nuvi 680 after only a few hours.

There is so much that the gps did for us during our trip, and it would take me quite a while to give you all the pro’s of this little piece of work, but lets just things such as a washroom break were easy – simply touching the screen and pulling up lists of all the upcoming restaurants/gas stations/stores etc… would list them all in order of how close we were to them, and another tap and a second color route would appear on screen for us to get there as fast as possible for the emergency potty breaks :P

I think that the MSNDirect feature still needs some works, and we did come across places where that feature didn’t work at all, but for the times we did use it – it was a real time, money and gas price saver with lots of interesting potential in the future.

My hats off to garmin and their nuvi 680 gps system, one of the most satisfyng purchases (and a slightly expensive one at that) i have ever made in my life!!!
